Did you know that more than forty pounds of dust accumulates inside the average American
home each year? Or that 72 trillion allergens make their way inside your home every day?
The public is invited to step inside American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning’s traveling
exhibit at the St. Louis Builders Home and Garden Show to learn how to be more comfortable indoors!
Touted as the “largest quality consumer home show in North America,” the St. Louis Builders Home & Garden
Show attracts more than 600 exhibitors and 1,900 booths, filling more than 400,000 square feet of America's
Center and Edward Jones Dome in downtown St. Louis.
In addition to learning more about clean indoor air, there are also prizes and giveaways including the Clean
and Comfortable Home Coloring & Activity book. A run-down of the exhibit is below, and American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning
representatives will be on hand for clean air demonstrations and interviews.
What’s Your Indoor Air IQ?: Test your indoor air quality knowledge by answering four questions.
Magnification Station: Peek through a magnifying glass to get a close-up
view of everyday particles found in the home like dust, pet dander and pollen.
Take a Deep Breath: See how many microscopic particles can be inhaled
inside a house without a whole home air filtration system compared to a house with a
whole home air filtration system.
Dust Bunny Hop: Step inside a house to see how many “dust bunnies”
made of cotton balls you can catch swirling through the air.
